I’ve been slowly circling the baker boy hat trend the last several months and I finally broke down and bought one. Honestly, I couldn’t wait to style it! I decided that for my first post featuring this hat I wanted to go full 70’s inspired. I paired it with the softest black flared jeans ever by Blank NYC. In addition to denim, they also produce a fabulous suede and their moto jackets are incredible. There are definitely a few pieces from them on my wishlist for 2018. To take the vintage look further I wore a perfectly broken in t-shirt from a little shop in Dallas that I purchased years ago. While I can’t find the original one, I have linked a very similar tee from Target. There is a resurgence of vintage logo items and modern logo-centric pieces on the market right now. While it’s not a trend that works for everyone, it can be fun to play with!
I’ve take a little break the last week from blogging because we’ve been spending time with family (lots of travel involved) and since we don’t get to see some of them very often I wanted to be as focused on them as possible. I also needed some time to recharge and really contemplate my goals for 2018. Stay tuned for more of that coming soon!
