Gorgeous Glo Spray Tan + Blowout Review

If you’ve been following my blog for a while you may have noticed that I have naturally pale skin that doesn’t tan easily. Thank you, Irish heritage! While I love my skin, I want to have more color year-round that didn’t involve me having to expose it to dangerous UV rays. After doing some research I noticed that Gorgeous Glo in Charlotte, NC, offers custom spray tans utilizing an all natural product made with antioxidants and pure botanicals. Obviously I had to try it and share the amazing results with all of you!

The results were fantastic! After having a custom spray tan at Gorgeous Glo my skin looked naturally sun-kissed and golden brown. No orange tones here! All spray tans include a nourishing pre-elixir that left my skin feeling hydrated and ensures long-lasting, even color. There are several keys to a successful spray tan that Gorgeous Glo recommends: prior to the appointment make sure to exfoliate and shave, avoiding any lotions or moisturizers the day-of. Wear loose fitting, dark clothing so the spray tan doesn’t get rubbed off or smudged before it sets in. After your appointment, make sure to wait 8-10 hours before perspiring or showering. This means you need to plan your workout and wash your hair before you go!

In addition to custom spray tans, Gorgeous Glo offers an array of salon services including blowouts, hair extensions, and lash extensions! The day after my spray tan I had a fun night out planned with friends, so I decided to try their blowout service. I chose a beach wave look with lots of volume and I loved the result! I actually ended up buying the thickening spray that the stylist used on my hair because I was so impressed with the way it looked. Below is my post from Instagram later that day.
