Tie Front Blouse + The Perfect Stack
Now that the solar eclipse is behind us we can all forget the words “eclipse glasses,” focus on what a cool experience it was and get back to shopping for Fall! Did you like the transition in focus there? Seriously though, it was such a cool moment yesterday watching the light change throughout the afternoon and seeing such a special event. In Charlotte we had 97% total eclipse, which is pretty darn good! I saw that it was significantly darker in places like Columbia, SC, that had 100% totality. We avoided all the stress around finding eclipse glasses (and avoiding the fake ones out there, scary!) by using Trent’s welding helmet. It worked great until clouds came in the picture. They would throw off the sensor in the helmet so the viewing portion would be dark one moment (as in safe to view the sun) then suddenly it would flip back to unprotected viewing mode when you weren’t expecting it. So I may have seen spots once or twice yesterday! Thankfully it was still very safe and I have good reflexes, so no damage was done. How was everyone else’s experience?
Back to Fall fashion: if there is a blouse every girl needs for transitioning to my favorite season, it’s this one. I love the tie front detail and the shirttail hem because it makes it so flattering and easy to wear. It’s button front with a covered placket. I love the super soft material that it’s made of, lyocell. Seriously, you’ll want to live in this blouse it is so soft! The material is similar to a heavier tencel or broken-in chambray alternative. The design is structured, yet delicate and feminine. The perfect combination for any closet essential!
I also recently purchased this AH-mazing bracelet stack from Kendle Starcher of Neon Love Story. Seriously, y’all need to check out her Etsy shop. She has so many great pieces, including the items that I used for this white and gold arm party situation. For all of my Carolina girls make sure you check out her Panther pride items! There are plenty of great choices in our favorite team’s colors. I love that she has a variety of mix-and-match items to play with and all at very affordable prices. Plus, you can feel extra good about shopping with Neon Love Story because 10% of every purchase is donated to the organization A21 to aid in the fight against human trafficking. All of her pieces are made by hand in North Carolina and are “inspired by people who want to stand out and be a part of something great.” Who doesn’t love that?
Outfit Details: tie front blouse // neon love story stack one & two // white skinny jeans // watch // tote bag // gold sunglasses
I combined my Neon Love Story stack with a vintage copper bangle from my aunt and my favorite rose gold watch by Stuhrling. Of course I’m carrying my new faux leather tote bag that I bought during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I love that I can use it as my everyday handbag, but I can also use it for meetings because it easily fits my laptop, accessories, and notebooks. It’s definitely a must for working girls and busy moms!
I’ve linked the entire look so you can add these great items to your wardrobe. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday and enjoys the rest of their week.
