red dress for july 4th
Hi everyone! Hopefully most of you are off work today, but if you’re not then I know you can’t wait for the July 4th holiday tomorrow! I’m ready to spend time at the pool then head to the U.S. National Whitewater Center for music, fun and fireworks! Trent and I are lucky to live so close to USNWC. They have plenty of activities to entertain everyone if you go with a group or just for date night. Last time we were there was Mother’s Day and forced my mother-in-law to do the zip line. This zip line is no joke and she was a trooper! Hawk Tower, which is the tallest starting points, stands over 100 feet tall and sends you flying 1,625 feet through the air before continuing to the Figure 8 ropes course in the canopy. I don’t think we’ll be doing that tomorrow, but maybe we will do some of the water activities like paddle boarding or kayaking.
Either way, this dress is perfect for spending time outside. Whether you’re on vacation, at a brewery with friends, or wearing it as a cover-up at the lake, this dress is perfect for any day activity. I love the little fringe detail on the sleeves! It is a knit dress and feels like you’re wearing one of your favorite t-shirts. The swing body shape makes it even more comfortable, keeping it lightweight and airy.

I’ve paired it with my favorite saddle bag and my Neon Love Story geode wrap choker necklace. Unfortunately this necklace is no longer available, so I’ve linked another great option. You could easily wear this dress for a casual day around town or pair it with flip flops and a tote if you need something to throw over your swimsuit! That’s how I’ll be wearing it to celebrate July 4th. I hope you all have a safe and fun holiday! Make sure you sport your best red, white and blue!
