The Product That Simplified My Skincare Routine
Skincare is one of those topics I just can’t get enough of. I love to try new products, know what works and what doesn’t, and learn about the latest and greatest trends. I’m especially passionate about clean beauty. As you may know I’m a consultant with Beautycounter, which is where my clean beauty journey began, but I like to find alternative brands especially those that offer unique products I don’t already have in my cabinet. That’s where Goop comes in.

Goop is my go-to website for all things clean beauty! It was founded by Gwyneth Paltrow in 2008 and since then has expanded to now include their own line of skincare products that’s a branch of her Juice Beauty brand. Goop by Juice Beauty offers a cleansing balm that I have been lusting after for quite some time. Cleansing balms and oils are a big trend in beauty right now because they’re a multi-functional product that gently removes makeup, dirt and impurities while keeping your skin hydrated. It can be used as a cleanser, hydrating mask, and so much more. I finally had the opportunity to try the Luminous Melting Cleanser by Juice Beauty and it totally changed my skincare routine.
Washing my face at night has always been a chore and there are some nights where I’ve been bad and totally skipped the entire process. However, the Luminous Melting Cleanser made my evening skincare routine so much easier! Instead of fooling with makeup remover and a cleanser, I get it all in one with this product.
Take a small dime size amount (sometime less, depends on your skin) and emulsify it on your fingertips by rubbing them together. I recommend using the included spatula, but you can also use clean hands. Then apply to dry skin in circular motions, including over your eyes and neck. Be extra careful around your eye area! That skin is fragile, so you don’t want to rub or pull too much. Then take a warm damp washcloth and gently wipe away the cleanser along with all your makeup and grime from the day!
If I’m feeling like I need extra hydration, I’ll apply a thin layer of the Illuminating Melting Cleanser to my face and use it as either a 15 minute mask or leave it on overnight. I’ve also used it on dry elbows, knuckles and cuticles. I love how the Luminous Melting Cleanser simplified my evening skincare routine and can be used in so many ways!
