AILLEA’s Biggest Sale Of The Year: KYPRIS + Josh Rosebrook Included For The First Time!
I made the swap to safer skincare in 2016 after learning about the lack of regulation in the industry and the questionable ingredients that were in my everyday products. Many of these ingredients have been linked to serious health issues such as cancer, infertility, asthma, hormone disruption, skin irritation and allergies. I used Beautycounter for many years, but recently decided to switch up my routine and the AILLEA Biggest Sale Of The Year was the perfect opportunity to do so.
From November 9th-14th, AILLEA is having their biggest sale of the year! They’re offering 20% off in-store and online* including Josh Rosebrook and KYPRIS for the first time with code BF2022.
I scheduled a consultation with Melissa to help me refresh my skincare routine and really tackle my dryness and redness. I have rosacea and as we head into the colder months I really need the right combination of products to balance everything out. I knew I wanted a cleanser, toner, serum and everyday moisturizer. The beauty of shopping in-store is not only the ability to consult with professionals who know the products inside-and-out, but also being able to try everything on your skin! I always like to go in with a fresh face for this very reason. Click this link to find an AILLEA store location near you.
Below are all of the products I tried in-store and ultimately purchased, including restocking on some of my other favorites!
We started with the Ursa Major Making Moves Milky Cleanser a.k.a. the “Un-Cream Cleanser,” which uses an enzymatic milk to give you a residue-free clean while maintaining hydration. Just apply 1-2 pumps onto damp or dry skin, then remove. You can also leave it on for 30-60 seconds for extra exfoliation. My skin felt so fresh after using it!
Melissa’s “holy grail” toner is The Optimist by Maya Chia. Simply mist your face after cleansing or use it on top of make-up for an extra boost of hydration. It’s moisturizing, brightening and has the most beautiful scent! Everything I use from Maya Chia is incredible and feels ultra-luxurious. My other favorites include the Super Naked Face Oil and The Super Blend pressed serum.
The #1 product I was most excited about was the Kypris Antioxidant Dew. This is the first time Kypris is participating this sale (sales are VERY rare). Marie Claire included it in The 16 Best Antioxidant Serums For Skin That Glows in 2021 and InStyle agrees it’s worth the hype. Plus, if the Antioixant Dew is good enough for Shawn Mendes it’s good enough for me haha! It only takes a little product – just two drops – which can be used morning and night. It absorbs very quickly (obviously a sign my skin is thirsty) and is super lightweight!
Lastly, I needed an everyday moisturizer that would help soothe my red skin, so we went with the CV Skinlabs Calming Moisture. While it can be used for healing purposes after microdermabrasion, laser treatments, retinol use and more, it is also safe for daily use for rosacea and eczema-prone skin.
While I was there I decided to restock my favorite Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint, which I wear instead of a traditional foundation whenever possible. I also snagged a new cream bronzer/highlight duo and brow pencil to try. I can’t wait to give you an update on them soon!
Thank you AILLEA for gifting some of the product featured in this post and Melissa for your time and expertise. As always, thoughts and opinions are my own. If you have any additional questions about my routine or products you would like to see more about, leave a comment below.
