wrap bracelets + how to wear

If you’ve been following me on Instagram, then you may remember I announced on my stories that I had finally posted my first YouTube video. Well, the full blog post is finally here!  I was so excited to receive my new Victoria Emerson wrap bracelets and couldn’t wait to share them with you, so I let my Instagram stories featuring the video be an early sneak peek.  Watch the full un-boxing and instructions on how to wrap them below:

Victoria Emerson was kind enough to send me not just one, but two, beautiful wrap bracelets to review and share with y’all.  The first bracelet in the video is a “three wrap” made of turquoise and crystals.  It will be perfect to pair back with blue jeans and dresses this summer!  I love the boho vibe that it gives an outfit and the turquoise is a lovely green-tone vs true blue.  While the original bracelet is sold out, I found a similar one made of green stone, white opal and crystals.  The second bracelet shown is the one I decided to style for this post made of howlite with silver skulls on white leather.  It is longer, as you can see in the video, so it definitely makes a statement.

I chose to keep the color story simple for this look: black and white with a touch of blush.  This kimono is from a boutique in Charlotte that I recently discovered called Firefly Boutique Ltd.  It’s located in north Charlotte and…*drum roll please*…they carry sizes S-3XL.  You read that right!  They carry a wide ranges of sizes so women of all shapes can come shop at their store.  I’ll be sharing additional details about them later this week and I can’t wait for you to see more of what they have to offer.  It’s so cute!  Unfortunately they don’t have an online store just yet, but you can call in and place an order at 704-464-1474.  Please let them know that I referred you 🙂

My new howlite wrap bracelet stacks perfectly with a few of my favorite gold bangles from Neon Love Story.  Even though the skulls are silver, they’re so small you don’t really noticed that I’ve mixed metals.  The best part is how easy it is to put on by yourself! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to find Trent and ask him to clasp a bracelet for me.  When it comes to Victoria Emerson you never have to worry about that.  Even their cuffs have a magnetic closure that makes it quick and easy to fasten with one hand!  They also offer watches, necklaces and earrings.  All of their pieces are handmade with care and amazing attention to detail.  Below are some of my favorite pieces from their collection.  As always, if you ever have questions on how to style items featured on the blog please feel free to contact me.
