denim + sneakers

Life has presented some “bumps in the road” recently and as a result I find myself leaning toward more casual items that make me feel comfortable, but still put together.  My go-to lightweight jacket right now is this classic trucker from Levi.  It has the right amount of stretch and goes with everything from jeans (hello Canadian tuxedo!) to summer dresses.  It’s easy to throw on at night when the temperatures start to cool down.  Hopefully we can hold the heat at bay for a while and enjoy the chillier temperatures at night.  Before you know it, it will be midnight and still 100 degrees.

Unfortunately this graphic t-shirt is pretty old, so I couldn’t find the exact one.  I linked another one that would be even better than this, so make sure to check it out.  The other stand-by these days are my Adidas Superstars.  I had a pair of these in high school and I’m so happy that they’re back in style!  Everyone needs a good pair of sneakers.  I love the classic white/black combo, but I want another pair.  Any suggestions on colors to go for?
