Happy Monday!  I’m not sure why my first instinct is to say “happy” Monday.  Is any Monday really ever “happy” when you first start it?  Usually the Monday blues start with Sunday “scaries” the night before and it’s all down hill from there…but I digress.  I hope you all had a great Monday and that it exceeded expectations!  On to the main topic: camouflage.  I was hesitant about this trend initially because I wasn’t sure how I could wear it on my curvy frame in a way that wouldn’t make me think of Destiny’s Child circa 2004.  While Beyoncé will forever and always be fabulous no matter what, it’s not really my style.  After plenty of research (i.e. scoping out all the online retailers) I realized that the best and most flattering way for me to introduce camo into my wardrobe (excluding accessories) was through outerwear.  There are a lot of jackets on the market in more classic utility styles, like the one I’m wearing above from Luxe Angel Boutique, but I really like the anorak look, too.  I’m also drawn to anything with embroidery and patchwork details.  Since I was doing some shopping of my own, I decided to share this quick guide by pulling together six of my favorite camo jackets in a range of price points and styles below.  Just click the square black icon next to each jacket to open up a new tab so you can shop!  As always, please feel free to reach out to me directly or comment below with any questions on how to style this trend!
