A Dress So Nice I Bought It Twice
Do you ever take a look at your closet and think “so many things, but nothing to wear?” This has been the story of my morning routine lately. Every time I look in my closet I can’t seem to get inspired. It’s been feeling a little dull and in serious need of a refresh. Thankfully, Spring is the perfect time to do just that.
Dresses are one of the easiest ways to make a wardrobe feel brand new. While I’m all about a comfortable basic, right now I want to focus on fun pieces that make a statement. I realized I needed more prints in my life, some fun hem details and different silhouettes. If it can be worn for multiple occasions, that’s even better. When I saw this wrap dress it checked all the boxes and then some. I even loved it so much, I bought it in a second print!

I’m shown wearing size XL in the black and white polka dot print. While it is a little more deep-cut on me based on my figure, I’m learning to embrace that part of my body and flaunt by curves. If you want it to be a little more conservative, just layer a camisole or bralette underneath! You can also order a size up to give yourself some more fabric to work with. I tried on the XXL, but preferred this fit.

The number one thing I love about this style is how easy it is to dress up or down. After owning it for a short time, I’ve already done both! I wore it to a bridal luncheon in Charleston a few weeks ago and paired it back to heeled sandals and my grey suede jacket. To dress it down for the weekend I threw on a denim jacket and white sneakers with my favorite layered necklaces. There are so many options!

If you’re looking for an effortless dress to refresh your wardrobe, I highly recommend this one. It’s reasonably priced at $50 and comes in an array of prints and colors. In addition to the black and white polka dot, I also bought the yellow floral print.
