Now that the weather is finally starting to cool off I’m ready to start shopping for jeans and wearing long sleeves again.  Luxe Angel Boutique in Charlotte, NC is a fantastic resource for great denim this month!  Throughout September if you bring in a pair of jeans to donate you will receive 20% off your entire purchase.  It’s a great deal for a great cause!  Lisa, the owner, does donation drives like this a couple times a year so she can help the community.  If you’re in the area this month make sure to stop by, donate some jeans, and do some damage in the denim section!

Luxe Angel Boutique has a fabulous selection of denim brands: Hidden Jeans, Level99, Articles of Society and more.  Her price range is mostly between $69-$119.  Lisa is a retail veteran and has so much knowledge about denim that I can say without a doubt that if you give her time to fit you, you will walk out of there with a pair of jeans in hand.  When you work with her she’ll start by asking you a few questions, which might include asking about other brands you typically wear, what sizes usually fit, your frustration with denim in the past and what you’re looking for now.  I spent only 5 minutes talking to her about my needs and she was able to find me not one, but two pairs of jeans!  This is a record for me.  On a typical day I’m lucky if I can try on 20 pairs and come out with my confidence still in tact.  Lisa, on the other hand, made the process so easy and pleasant that I can’t wait to go back for more!

Now that you have all the details on how you can donate to a great cause this month and get a great deal, I want to talk more about my outfit from Luxe Angel Boutique.  In addition to a great denim selection, they have a wonderful assortment of tops, dresses and athleisure.  I love my off the shoulder tunic blouse with the feminine ruffle.  You can wear it loose as I have, tuck in the front, or pair it with a great pair of leggings.  This top has enough coverage to give you some styling options, which just makes the price-per-wear value even better.  I’m wearing a pair of Articles of Society Super Soft Sarah Skinny Jeans in the Prairie wash.  I wanted a little bit of shine added to this look, so I paired it with a bold crystal and faux leather choker.  The originally one is no longer available, but I found similar ones from Baublebar and linked them above in the “outfit details” section.
