Grey Off The Shoulder Top

Elan continues to make the absolute best tops for Spring and the sleeve details on this one made me want to dance! They’re full, pleated, and dramatic. Just what the doctor ordered! Sometimes all it takes to boost your mood is the right outfit. This off the shoulder grey striped top does just that!

We shot this look in one of my favorite places: Ayrsley Towncenter. It’s located only a few minutes from our house right off of I-485 and South Tryon. Trent and I go here almost every day because this is where our Title Boxing gym is located. However, we also regularly patron several restaurants in this little towncenter including Corner Bar, Beer Temple, Portofino’s and Salsa’s are a few of our favorites! I wore this top on a recent date night at this location, so it only seemed right to snap a few (a.k.a. 100) pictures before dinner. I love how wide the sleeves are and the pleats add extra volume. They’re especially dramatic as you move and lift your arm. The material of this top, like others from Elan, is very lightweight and comfortable making it great for those warmer months in the South. I’ve paired it with my favorite Levi jeans and a great Kate Spade clutch I recently snagged at the outlets. Unfortunately it isn’t available online, so I linked a similar one for you above. The exact tassel earring is an old pair from BaubleBar. They recently updated it and the difference between the styles are barely noticeable. Finally, I’m wearing my favorite everyday lipstick from Beautycounter in “Rose.” It’s lightweight and gives me the perfect amount of color that I can easily reapply without a mirror. It’s a no-fuss lipstick!
