French Terry is the Fabric of Summer
For those of you who are familiar with French terry you may be thinking “are you crazy Logan?!” Traditionally this looped cotton knit is used in sweatshirts and towels, but hear me out. French terry is also commonly used in loungewear, especially those worn at the beach because it’s absorbent, soft and comfortable. Key word here is “comfortable!” So when I put on anything that is French terry, especially in a stripe, I automatically think of cool mornings on the beach drinking coffee or lounging around the house after hours of sunbathing. That’s why I love this top from Luxe Angel Boutique! It’s a French terry t-shirt with a split side hem and cute cap sleeves that you’ll want to wear all Summer.

While it might look thick, this top is actually very lightweight! I could have worn it all day and all week. I’ve paired it with my favorite jeans for a casual look. However, if you wanted to wear it as loungewear you could easily pair it back to shorts or a drawstring skirt. It will travel easily, won’t wrinkle, and you’ll love having it next time you’re at the beach or lake.
I’ve got the beach on my mind because we head to Ocean Isle the second week in June and I can’t wait for it to get here. Since I’m looking for some more French terry items to pack in my bag, I wanted to round up a few of my favorites! Below are dresses, tops and bottoms that will be your go-to comfy items.
