floral bomber + the perfect tank

I always try to find pieces for my closet that I know I can style various ways throughout the year in order to get the most bang for my buck.  You may not know this about me, but when it comes to clothes I’m stingy.  There are certain items that I will splurge for because I know they’re a great investment: a great pair of jeans, a killer coat, or the perfect handbag.  However, for my every day shopping needs I usually try to buy things that are under $50.  This tank top is less than $30 and is one of those great buys that I know I’ll wear the hell out of.  The original color sold out, but you can buy it in a similar burnout version and there is another one by Free People that features a racerback.  You can wear it by itself in the summer time and easily layer it under jackets or ponchos when you transition to Fall and Winter.  It also looks great with a pair of workout leggings for a cute athleisure look!

The real star of this post, however, is this amazing floral bomber jacket.  I snagged it from The Pink Hanger, a local boutique that I’ve raved a lot about recently.  The original one is no longer available, but I found some great alternatives for you.  I went ahead and put together several options from this fabulous trend for you to shop.  One of them is even on sale for only $10!  The great thing about these bomber jackets is that they can go with jeans, dresses, and even over a cool pair of workout leggings just like the tank I’m wearing.  You can really play with how you style this item to keep it fresh!  It’s a new take on the original bomber jacket, which always read more heavy and masculine.  The floral print and satin material make them feminine and fun!  I’ve paired it with my favorite skinnies (of course) and a great pair of faux geode studs that I also snagged from The Pink Hanger.  These earrings were less than $20!  Such an amazing deal!  The Pink Hanger had such a range of price points, but I love that they have plenty of affordable jewelry options mixed it so you can accessorize your looks effortlessly.  Unfortunately these earrings are only available in-store, so I’ve linked some similar ones for you to shop online.  Make sure to stop by the store to check out their great selection if you’re in the Charlotte area!

Hope you all have a great Monday.  Let’s get this week started off right!
