cable knit poncho

cable knit poncho // denim jeans // kendra scott earrings // fringe clutch // grey booties

When the weather teeters between been cold and that perfect pre-spring sunny day, I love to throw on this super easy cable knit poncho.  It’s light, yet just cozy enough, and it is oh so flattering!  Because I am a curvier girl, cable knit sweaters can be tough to wear and not look too top-heavy.  The poncho is a great way for me to wear a cable knit because the swing shape creates nice proportions, especially when paired with skinny jeans.   Today I gave it a western inspired spin with my fringe clutch and grey embroidered booties!  The turquoise earrings just bring it all together.

The best part of this outfit is the foundation: the denim.  If you don’t own a pair of AG jeans…you need to speed on over to the link above so you can snag them!  I’m wearing the “Farrah” high-rise skinny and I absolutely love them.  Not only are they incredibly comfortable, but they are very flattering.  I’ve tried on several of their fits and I’ve liked them all, but the high-rise is definitely my favorite.  The higher waist guarantees you won’t be continually hiking your jeans up throughout the day and it hugs you in all the right places.  Plus, they don’t stretch out!  Kid you not.  You have to have them!  Make sure to check out the links above so you can shop the look!
