The Beauty of Wrap Tops
Shopping Guide
outfit details: wrap top (sold out) + similar top // similar jeans // white ‘alesia’ mules
Wrap tops are one of my new favorite curve-friendly styles! I’ve worn “surplice” tops before, which are typically a faux-wrap style that creates a v-neckline, and thought they were very flattering. However, prior to purchasing this blouse by Wayf I hadn’t tried a true wrap top out of fear that they wouldn’t work with my fuller chest (I wear 36DDD). Now that I’ve finally tried one, I can tell you first-hand that I was wrong: wrap tops accentuate curves in the best way, are usually easy to adjust around the bust-line, and you can play with how you wrap them. While I tied the above top in a square knot because I loved the dramatic long ends, you can also tie it in a bow for an extra feminine touch!
Wrap tops are great with jeans, shorts and even skirts. I’m wearing the Wayf Beckett Tiered Sleeve top in a size L with my favorite Express ripped skinny jeans and my custom white mules from Shoes of Prey. If you haven’t seen my post on Shoes of Prey, you can read all about how you can customize their styles or even design your own pair here. Unfortunately my top has already sold out (maybe they will bring it back!), so I found a similar one that is even cuter because it has a touch of embroidery.
Honestly, the obsession with wrap tops has me shopping way more than my wallet can handle, so I wanted to share some of my favorite finds with you! Below is a collection of some of the items I’ve added to my cart or found during my search. Happy shopping!
