Bridesmaid Dresses You Can Actually Wear Again
We’ve all heard those words: “Don’t you love this bridesmaid dress? You can totally wear it again!” Whether the expectation is you wear it as is or hem it to a shorter length, every bride is hopeful that their bridesmaids will get more than one wear out of their dresses. They tend to be expensive, sometimes unflattering or uncomfortable, and there usually isn’t another occasion nice enough to warrant wearing them a second time. However, finding a dress that your bridesmaids can truly wear again isn’t impossible! There are so many options on the market, so I took the liberty of sifting through them and pulling together my favorite multi-end-use bridesmaid dresses just for you!
I was inspired to do this by my sister Cortney’s wedding where bridesmaids wore bohemian style dresses by Show Me Your Mumu. If you want a dress your girls can wear again, look no further than this brand! They can easily be dressed up or down, worn with flat sandals or heels, super flattering and incredibly comfortable. They come in an array of seasonal colors, necklines and styles. I’m pictured wearing the “Hacienda” off the shoulder gown while my other sister, Kate, pictured in the next image is wearing the “Heather” halter gown. I was so happy she decided on these dresses because I immediately knew I could find a way to wear it again.

It was actually my friend Emily who got to wear it first! She snapped this picture at a wedding she recently attended in Blowing Rock, NC. To make it more casual she paired it with a long necklace and some of her favorite Twine & Twig bracelets. She carried my all time favorite acrylic party clutch. It literally says “party” on it. I wish you could see more of it in this picture! Could there be a more perfect bag for celebrating?!
