Bra Sized Swimwear from Coco Reef

It’s amazing that after years of dreading swimwear shopping it has become something I look forward to. My journey with my body has been a long one. Recovering from my eating disorder, leaving a toxic work environment, losing another loved one to cancer and becoming a mom have all reinforced my belief that life is too short to delay joy. That includes allowing other people’s beauty standards and my own insecurities hold me back from living life to the fullest.

This summer I hope that you’ll choose to wear what you want. I can remember all of the times I wore something long, heavy or dark to cover my body only to be miserable in the heat and sun. It was suffocating. It’s time to ditch the jeans for shorts, stop shying away from that bikini you’ve been eyeing and finally let your arms breathe in something sleeveless.

If you’re interested in exploring mid-size or plus size swimwear make sure you’re following me on Instagram and TikTok. I regularly share try-ons that might not make it to the blog. It’s a great way for you to see a style on figure, in motion and connect with others (including me).

Today I wanted to highlight a swimwear brand that puts fit first. Coco Reef designs bikinis and one-pieces that are based on your bra size! Support and quality fabrications are two key aspects of the brand. Coco Reef carries sizes 32C-44G in tops, XS-4XL in bottoms and 4-20 in cover-ups. You can shop the look shown here and more from Coco Reef at cocoreefswim.com, Zappos, Bare Necessities and Macy’s.

I’m wearing the Shirred Bra Top in St. Tropez Leopard with matching High Waist Bikini Bottoms. Coco Reef also carries some really high-quality cover-ups. My favorite is the Bezel Long Sleeve Button Down. I’m shown wearing size XL. It can be worn open, tied or buttoned up as a dress. The fabric is silky soft and comfortable even in the heat!

I hope this post has inspired you to wear what you love this season, including swimwear! I know firsthand how challenging it can be to find the right bikini or one-piece. If you try Coco Reef, let me know what you think in the comments on this post or please shoot me a DM! I would love to hear from you.
